Thank you. That is an easy adjustment to grind the bushings.
Maybe another addition in my future.
Did you source them locally or from MMC England?
The Ohlins come to mind but the fitment of them seems to be a bit problematic, and for what they cost they should sure as heck fit perfectly
I can't comment on the spax but what fitment issues are there with the ohlins? Mine dropped right in and the eye even adjusts which makes up for the slop on the shock mount as one of my shocks was about 1/2" out from the other. Now you have to shim left to right with washers but that was not a big deal as the factory shocks were shimmed with washers as well. Another surprise is the factory shocks and the bolt are different diameters on mine which also made for more slop.
The diameter of the springs are such that getting them in perfectly without hitting the fuel tank or the drive belt. Did you have to machine the bushings to position the shocks properly? What year did you purchase them?

I purchased the fronts last summer and the rears around Christmas time. The rears I did get a spacer but is easier to buy washers and space them exactly where you want.
If you are willing to buy some washers the fit seemed pretty easy to me.
I did not machine or grind anything off to get them to fit.

Were you able to set the height you desired and then adjust dampening to work properly?

If you raise the ride height by 1" all round the unintended consequence will be that you will introduce bump steer, which you do not want to do.
To remedy this the steering trackrods would have to raised up by the same amount

Ditto on the Ohlins. Can't comment on relative value but the fitment and ride quality is excellent. The yellow coils are unmistakable.
