Hi all, Am looking to replace some of the present rubber coolant hoses with stainless braided options. Does anyone know the internal/external diameters of those fitted?

Don’t do it
Braided hose are too stiff to use as coolant lines, you don’t need the pressure capacity and you’ll end up breaking anything plastic that the hose fits onto

Silicon hoses would be a good option.

If you carry out a Google search, you’ll see plenty of suppliers.
I used Demon Tweeks, but that was 15 years ago!

Nostalgiajohn ..... Demon Tweeks does a range of silicone hose in various colours .... including 'classic black' to save your underbonnet looking like a chav's birthday treat !

This will be available elsewhere as well, of course.

Paul Roose is very helpful and they do many different colours.

I've just finished re-plumbing my 2 Litre Zetec conversion which needed some non standard hoses and I went for OEM Black which is matt black to match an "old car" look.

Roose are still manufacturing albeit at a reduced capacity but give them a try.

No connection, just a very happy customer.
