Welcome to the madness that is the M3W, it generates more smiles than anything I have ever driven👍
I would like to mirror what Planenut said about the gas gauge, it is indeed worthless. Yesterday it was bouncing around 1% and 7%, I got to my destination and shut it off but when I left it read 11% after starting it. I drove about a mile to a gas station and filled it up to theMANDATORY ONE CLICK ON THE PUMP FILL. It took 4.5 gallons and registered 100%. The gauge is garbage, unless you are a gambling man and are placing bets with your copilot on how much it will take to reach the magic one click.
And with a speedo that is not accurate then how accurate is the trip meter? I use a trip meter on my gps system.

CONGRATS! Your status has officially changed from WAITER....to HAVE 'ER. It's beautiful...great contrast from exterior to interior. Did you do the Interstate from LA to LV, or get on some back roads?

A lovely looking vehicle.
Check that there’s some padding under the bonnet strap, particularly the buckle pad, otherwise it will pick up some dirt and happily grind the paint away. I use the non-slip fabric designed for boat cupboards, it stays in place and is soft.
