Yes I had a short run through Oxshott until the hail storm arrived and so retreated. Both myself and the car were soaked by the time we got home. The wind was so strong and erratic that the inside of the windscreen had as much action as the outside, still let's not complain as I quite enjoyed the feel of rain on my face, it's been a long time.
I was out testing to hear if I was successful in eliminating a particularly annoying rattle from the hood stays, mission accomplished this time. I had hammered a rivet head to close the gap between the two stays so the washer could not resonate at exactly the most annoying frequency known to man.

We went in the tin top today to beach near Languard point & then on the way home stopped at Manning Amusement for an ice cream. Heaven, they even had Rum & Raisin the king of ice cream flavours.
I would have gone in the Mog but head office had washed her hair earlier so that was not allowed.
