I made that face the other day - went over a bump and there was an almightly clatter. As I've just replaced springs/dampers etc I feared the worse. Carried on driving slowly so I could find somewhere save to pull in, then the Mrs spotted that the picnic basket had slipped off the seat, and the noise was the enamel plates/mugs and cutlery......

A couple of years ago I pulled a face like that. A large stone fell into the road, I couldn’t avoid it. BANG! Pulled into check. Just a dent in the sump. Luckily a solid steel sump not aluminium.

Just had a painter round to do some decorating work on the house ..... turns out he's a furloughed British Airways pilot ..... made a lovely job of the landing
