It says the VIN plates are all fine which could be of use to the less scrupulous.

Wasn’t that a common fault with the Miura?
Miura...if only I had the ££££££. I’d have to but a Nomex suit though!

Mainly the earlier carb models (according to my Muira book) Phil. And yes, if only I had the £££££ It would have to be a decent Premium Bond win! smile

I would assume the VIN number is on the un-repairable write off register so the number can't be used to rebirth another car. I would certainly hope so or I would be very worried if I owned that model car it would be nicked for a rebirth.

No silly offers - well how about not asking a silly price to start with, right hand front light looks filled with smoke, left one looks slightly burnt at the top, expensive exhaust looks burnt too much to use and now has some surface rust, back wheels probably buckled from the heat so really all he is selling is two front wheels and brakes?

I noticed he has missed spelt "opportunity" and used "off" rather than "of" (unless the seller really meant he is selling for only a fraction off what it would be worth unwrecked) So I fixed it and the other things wrong with the sentence

AN IDEAL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY TO OWN 1% OF A £120,000 CAR AT 25% OF THE PRICE......
