[quote=Dee Useful tip: when using a hole saw, run it in reverse for a few turns to gently scratch into the veneer before cutting, to avoid splitting and chipping. I also found that the hole was slightly tight and opened it out using an abrasive flap wheel on the drill. That’s a great tip! Cheers Doug.[/quote] Good advice running backwards for the initial 'cut' I also put masking tape around the circumference of the dash face & sometimes gently take the outer tip of the hole saw teeth off on a bench grinder as some have an aggressive tooth shape, then drill a test hole in a piece of scrap plywood

Andy, the rev counter is in the centre, I must have taken the photos centered on the gap between the rev counter and clock. You had my OCD head worried there for a moment

Thanks to all for the information & tips.
It doesn't seem there is a standard measurement and I think I will choose whats best for my seating and steering wheel position level with the other gauges.

Rob, I must admit I never, look at the clock in Seve'......time in the Morgan is precious, therefore not concerned. However, post an image when done

The clock wiring is there and I think they look good and I like spending money on my Morgan. Will add photos when I can get hold of a clock!
