Begrudgingly I believe I may be in the market for a shower cap for my Mog. Having resisted the urge to purchase one for a few years the changeable weather of late is forcing me to change my mind.

I thought I'd ask here first as to whether there are any recommended suppliers?

I should clarify that I am not looking for a full car cover just a cover to protect the cabin when the Mog is parked either whilst on a jaunt or parked over night.

Trevor does this mean that you take your morgan into the shower with you for a rub down? umbrella OR

did you mean shower cape? laugh2

Anyway I bought mine (cape/cover) from John Taylor who actually makes them himself, and very good they are too. His email is johnmog@btinternet.com or mob 07773637202.Though not the cheapest, the quality is super. Good luck and best regards!

I must admit I have thought of a shower cap but when it rains I just go faster, and sod the red lights!

David, I thought shower cap was appropriate for both the weather and look. laugh2

Thank you for the reference. I am concerned by the "not the cheapest" but will venture a call.

Not the Mog driving I am concerned over but the parked and getting soaked. My roof is quite leak free but I often don't want to raise the roof so a quick fix would be a good option.

I have a St Clare one ..used it for the Westfield and the Morgan it just covers the cockpit and screen.but fount the rain went through the bonnet louvres onto the the engine ..So have just got the new long nose one from Morgan .Top quality and easy to put on nice Morgan logo on the windscreen section too.
£95 I think it was. Very easy to fit and wont blow off.

Trevor last year I paid about 90 quid which seemed reasonable. It came complete in a bag. thumbs

Peter, the Morgan Motor Co long nose shower cover looks like a good option.

Both you and Nputtnick mention St Clare. I have Googled but cannot find a web site. Anyone know where I can get some more info and images?

Thank you for all help.

Trevor

The cover sold by John Taylor is by far the best IMHO. I have used one on both my Mogs and even the Irish rain has never manager to get in!!!

Cheers!
