I've used my John Taylor one in torrential rain and gales and its worked well.

That says something for JT covers!! rofl

Mine is getting a bit tired now (the elastics have stretched and a seam is going) but it still keeps almost all the water out after 6 years - and for the first year it was on the car for much of a winter, so I'm in agreement with you Robbie!

Cheers,

If you're an MSCC member, John's Miscellany ad. often shows one fitted to a car.

It's "Walker St Clair" and they advertise in Miscellany but don't seem to be on the web.

I have looked into John's web site and noted that his cover uses elasticated cord that is looped over the headlights. Has anyone had an issue with abrasion to the painted surface when the cover had been used in windy weather?
