Nice video. It looks like the area around Devils Tower, and what a beautiful sound!
The light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train. 2019 M3W

Thanks, Stephen. This area is just outside of Golden, close to White Ranch State Park.

Hello! Nice video again! One question: what are the settings of your GoPro? I just tested mine tonight in a short drive in Madrid, and when I'm driving the vibrations of the V-Twin make the image shacky. I have fixed it with it's GoPro suction cup, and set the hypersmooth video at 4K resolution with 30 FPS. And the stabilizer is ON (theorically). And it's neat when stopped at a traffic light but blurry while driving. Tomorrow I plan to do a drive in the mountains North Madrid. I would love to know what am I doing wrong! Or maybe it's just my stand (I mean the GoPro suction cup) that makes it shake with the engine's RPMs? Thanks in advance and best regards EDIT: I've read in the internet that GoPro stabilisation sucks at night / with low light...

Thank you!!! I changed from 30 FPS to 60 FPS (should help to have more frame per minutes I guess) and now with day light I'll see how it works!

Good morning! The last video seems to be on a somewhat bumpier road than the others. But hey, that's the case in most back woods roads anywhere in the US... You showed the vacuum cup mount and say you have it mounted up front on the hood (bonnet). My question still goes back to the first time I posted on your gimbal effect. In previous videos I've one with GoPro years ago, when mounted to my Harley, the parts of the bike stay exactly in frame during the video and the moving stuff of course... moves. But in your video, the M3W seems to be slightly rotating from side to side, or as though the GoPro was on a swivel that could rotate on axis vertically and will eventually catch up with the M3W going straight down the road. Is this rotational effect ALSO provided by the new stabilization built into the Hero 8? It looks great, but I'm just trying to get my head around the motion if it's "stuck" in one place on the hood. We're getting ready to go to Sturgis again this year and plan on spending more time there, now that I'm retired... I have a Hero 4, but even that does not take all that great of videos. I may just pop for the 8 and move on. Also, the new Hero's do not use an outside cover as in the older GoPro's, correct? Does the rear screen show the front camera view for setup and alignment, or is it just a text screen for settings? Thanks and keep up the great videos.
Dan

Hi Dan Yes, that road is certainly bumpier and actually turns into a dirt road at the end for a couple of miles. The rotational effect you are noticing must be Gopro Hero 8's image stabilization algorithm. I do have it at the normal (on) value (not high or hyper). So perhaps that allows for some of that effect. But I am not using any special apparatus. Here is how/where the suction mount is set up on the hood/bonnet: ![[Linked Image]](https://jawad.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p3917316465-5.jpg) You got me thinking and the last time I owned a Gopro was probably the Hero 2 many many years ago and recorded some videos with the camera mounted inside the vehicle to the windshield. I just watched one of those videos again and it also did not look too bad, even though it did not have hyper smooth or any kind of image stabilization then: https://jawad.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-11/o282653245/c2/p484363439-200.mp4

It is a lovely drive around Golden Gate, my +8 has been used a number of times as a wedding car from the Ranger station to the ceremony at the Red Barn. Did you see the resident Moose on the way down?
