While I was out walking the dog this morning in the rain, I was just thinking back over 20 years ago when I had my first Morgan (Cream, 4/4, 4 Seater)
We would be trundling along, sun shining, music blaring - all was well then...... you would see the oncoming cars with their headlights on! If you were quick you'd be able to pull over and find shelter/put up the roof. Alas this early warning system no longer exists as almost every car has front lights on.

True, but before I lost my sense of smell in March I could always smell rain coming.  has an app that is very accurate about local rain.

A few years ago I went out for a drive with the S Wales Triumph Owners. In Mumbles I had to stop at the lights. It started to pour down. Simple solution....put up an umbrella. It amused the pedestrians anyway!

I don't have a roof on the +8. Just use a child's umbrella (Paddington) at traffic lights or other queues.
