Money well spent, and I say that as a Yorkshireman. (Deep pockets, short arms).

If you are intending to fit them yourself, expect some problems (or was it just my lousy luck). One of the door check screws in the offside door pillar had been hammered in and bent at the factory, making it difficult to remove and knackering the thread in the pillar (requiring re threading with a larger size or drilling right though - yet to be resolved. Neither of the Door Ends Screw Holes lined up with the Door Pillar Holes so needed to be re drilled lower down to get them square. This is probably why no one wants to take them off once fitted .

Fiddly to fit, but Frank had a bad experience. Hammered in screw - no excuse for that in a car of this value.

Rob W's instructiona are very good and suitably detailed. Sorry if this is a cheap shot but IMHO it shows yet again how low the Factory QA is " Crafstman -built" - don't make me laugh! G

Frank To fix your enlarged hole......... Make some sawdust. Mix well with PVA glue into a paste with plenty of sawdust. Prime the hole with PVA, then fill with the sawdust mix. Leave a few days, then it will drill and take a screw just like wood.
