The newer style badge was announced at the Centenary in 2009.
IMHO the older badge, with the model designation, looks far better.
My 2003 4/4 badge still looks great.

Many thanks. Do they last any better? Mine is 21 years old and looks just like Gary's photo but with +8 instead and as new. BHM stock them too. Mine has only been on for a about 5 years but looks mint and is a better style of badge I think.

I agree the old one does look better And good to know it should last longer. . I will try paint before I splash out though.

I agree the old one does look better And good to know it should last longer. . I will try paint before I splash out though. Not a bad idea Hawki. I just sick and tired of repainting the badge and decided to do a proper job because it's such a prominent part of the car's presentation.

Oz, I guess I have to go through the pain myself before I can bring myself to pay. Your call good Sir but for me, it represented an important part of the presentation. It's the first thing most people look at to identify the car and its pedigree and why quality vintage car builders paid so much attention to their hood ornament. The new Morgan badges look cheap and nasty. It's a plaque that should be worn with pride, not embarrassment.

Yes it has Graham. Alas you can't get the old style badge with Roadster on it.
