I did that last year when I went to Cornwall and then had to change plans when I realised I couldn't get a phone signal in half the carparks! Also find it a bit frustrating that there's so many different ones - currently have MiPermit, RIngGo and JustPark. Northants Train station use Saba (but that's right rip off and last time I used it you can only pay in 24hr full day blocks)

I usually impale tickets on the tonneau cover fastening in the centre of the dash.

Now you have made my think..... My previous Morgan had a tonneau, great in the good weather and parking in public car parks. My current Morgan has an easy up hood and no tonneau, it’s too much faff to put the hood up so I tend to put the storm cover on to keep the dust leaves etc out of the cockpit something I’ve seen fellow owners do. Car Park Tickets. Here is the problem, displaying car parking tickets, I used to have an old conference ID holder that I would put the ticket in and clip to the rear mirror rod or dash cam cable - see previous post. This is no good if I’m using the storm cover, so I am going to try out having a clear holder stuck to the cover in which to slip the ticket. Foresee this wont last with trying to get the cover back into it's bag. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/07/06/20200706_151651.md.jpg) Maybe someone else will come up with a better plan - don't think parking apps work in National Trust car parks.

Tim, You may not have a tonneau cover, but the Morgan has a tonneau! You would have problems if they made it without tonneau.

The +8 is roofless. Have had a couple of problems in the UK with the ticket dissolving in rain when fixed to the windscreen. It's an even bigger problem if you use a storm cover in a public pay and display car park. How do you attach the ticket. Came badly unstuck in old town Tallinn in 2016 again with overnight rain dissolving the ticket.

If a ticket or a (german) parking disk is requiered I have a transparent pocket sewn onto my storm cover from John Taylor.
This pocked has a velcro fastener
And yes I also make a foto from the ticket ..
