Excellent job and more money for fuel smile

Ironically the badge enamel was the one thing that didn't drop off my new 2009 Sport which was when the new Centenary wings appeared..

The badge enamel on my new Roadster fell off about 3 minutes after purchase. My +8 has been fine, not a flake.

That must be a record. It shows the lack of quality of the new badges through.

I've always suspected that the chrome is a shiny slippery surface that the enamel paint doesn't stick too very well, so not really poor OE quality, just the limit of mass production

If I repainted mine I would slightly rough-up the base areas with a tiny Dremel bit before painting

Or you could use some etching primer before the top coat.

Excuse me laughing but that is pretty special, my Plus 8 badges are perfect as they are painted black inserts wink

Rear reflectors and wing stays fell off or became unglued for a pastime and of course the four stress related windscreens replaced in the first 24,000 miles but the running gear was faultless and joyful, the Toyo tyres helped handling no end the Conti's were diabolical in any conditions and I swapped them out at 17,000 miles I should have done it earlier.
