Some 3W Sport Paint + Bespoke Leather Combos

Thinking, thinking... so many color choices...

I wanted to try some Bespoke leather colors with standard Sport paint colors – something that can't be done with the online "Showroom" – so I fired up PhotoShop and went to work.

The selections with the green check marks are my favorites. What are yours?

(Notice that I assigned codes to each combo for easy reference.)

Nice work - the amount of choices really makes it hard...at the same time it is not that much to repaint if you get feed up after 10-15 years.

If you imagine no 4 being silver/tan - thats my choice. A classic and neutral colour easy to personalize with racing numbers, roundells, Union Jacks, stripes, shark teeths or whatever mood you are in for the coming season smile

My plan is to pop over to Malvern when production is fully up and running (late autumn?) to get some inspiration and also see the combinations in real life.

If I had to choose from the selection you have offered above I would vote for the Sport Ivory with the burgundy leather.

I'd be inclined to agree.

Colour choice is a very personal thing and individual tastes vary.

Were I to purchase a M3W, I'd want to have it in a bright colour because I feel it suits the personality of the car and also, from a safety perspective, it seems to make a lot of sense (to me!).

Top of my list would be Porsche Signal Yellow (a bright light Orange, not the 'Yellow' it would lead you to believe it is), with black trim and black leather with orange stitching.

I can see why people want to make them look vintage but for me, I'd rather embrace the modernity of this retro inspired creation. arr

Boshly, Aeroman and I put our names down at the same time; however, too much consideration over the many months has made me too practical and I questioned how much I would use it. Still love the idea but for me it is one that I can't justify.

Saturday 10th September is an MSCC buffet lunch event at the factory. Downside is no real work going on. Upside is a better tour & experience. This may be full, but it might be worth contacting Angela.
See below:

Dear Centre Secretary,

The Morgan Motor Company Exclusive Sports Car Club Events

The Morgan Motor Company chosen charity for 2011 will be The Morgan statue appeal. We are looking to raise £250,000 to produce a life size bronze Model depicting HFS Morgan handing the factory keys over to his son Peter Morgan in 1957, with a life size Morgan beside them. The statue celebrates 100 years of Morgan and will be a stunning feature in Great Malvern!

The Morgan Motor Company would like to invite members of The Morgan Sports Car Clubs to exclusive open mornings at the factory. Additional events including a summer ball, charity auction, golf tournament, themed events etc will be added to this program throughout the year.

Our next exclusive open morning will be on Saturday 7th May with the next event on 10th September for which we are also now taking bookings.

The Morgan Sports Car Club excusive morning will start at 10am with morning coffee followed by an exclusive guided factory tour and directors presentation to inform you of exciting new developments planned for 2011, with an update on the new three wheeler!

A buffet lunch will be served at the end of the morning and the Visitor Centre gift shop will be open offering a 10% discount on all items for the morning. The cost of the morning, including lunch, is £12.50 per person with a minimum of £5 being donated towards the statue.

The closing date for the May event is Monday 2nd May, please could we have names of any attendees prior to this date. Payment for the event can be made upon arrival at the factory on the day.

I am sure you will agree that this will be a fun and informative morning for your members, along with raising money for this wonderful cause.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,

Angela Hymas,
Visitor Centre Manager. Direct line 01684 584580 email angela.hymas@morgan-motor.co.uk

PS - I'll be there...........
