Very sorry to hear this. We had discussions with some friends who we normally holiday with and we have decided to knock this going away thing on the head. This is because the countries involved could have lock down anytime and also as has happened the rules change and the routine on returning to the UK. Also like I heard on the BBC this morning, the insurance companies back in March decided not to pay out if it involves Covid 19 in any way. Better off staying in the UK. I have just come back from the Peak District, lovely area.

Dave, agreed we put it back to Sept but that has proved impossible. The resort god bless has decided to only charge 1 night for the cancellation despite the fact they could take the full deposit. I can live with that so we get most of the money back & hopefully our cash helps them stay in business I can highly recommend the place. Cocobay

it is a very intimate friendly place & the staff are almost family. There is real no other employment on the island. This year will be bad for them.
