Anybody else receive this from MMC recently? https://www.morgan-motor.com/morgan-driving-tours/On the face of it, the price is rather high, but I guess when you factor in all the hotels, fees, and the car hire it might be easier to stomach. I reckon thee could be a load of Plus Four factory cars available in about a year's time, tempting?

I got it. I agree, this is some cleverish marketing. I wonder if the cars will be offered at a "special price" to participants??
I'd also like to take the northern trip, but in Tarka......

It will certainly dump some used ones onto the market, I wonder how many will have been 'dinked'

Yes I got the factory round robin, my first reaction is that it is aimed at our cousins across the Atlantic I think it will fit well for prospective customers from there.
It's a good bit of imaginative marketing on MMC's part I wish them well with it.
I wonder if you place a deposit on a new car maybe you will get the cost of the trip returned ?

I don’t think the price is too bad considering the package
I hired two four seaters from the factory back in 2012 and 2014 and it was over a £1000 for a week
This includes nice accommodation, shooting and activities and food for two people

Not cheap but as you say good advertising. I wish them well as it is brave to kick this off with COVID around. I do wonder how they will inform the clientele of the lack of luggage space.

MMC's FAQs... "While there is increased luggage space in the all-new Morgan Plus Four, we recommend no more than two large soft bags and two smaller day bags" "Due to insurance stipulations for the Morgan Plus Four, any driver must be aged between 25 and 70. However, there are no age restrictions for non-driving guests" So, many of us are excluded!!

To be honest, the best way to tour in a Morgan is by yourself so you can please yourself.
I've done plenty of group runs and weekends away in my time, and now we prefer just us.
That's why we don't use the MSCC Tour Operator, and is why we do the Scottish Highlands alone.
TM did a Scottish Highland tour in April 200? maybe 9, or 10. I think about a half dozen Morgans went on it, and I regret not being on that.
It was a full-on long distance every day road trip and I wasn't sure if MrsW was up to the challenge.
If that were to ever happen again, I would be up for it, but that's the only group tour we would contemplate.
