Hi
I have a 2014 plus 4 and the water bottle for the window screen washers is leaking from the bottom. There are no holes but it seems to be coming from the rubber grommet that the electronics fit into.

Does anyone know if this is a replaceable item and where i can get one from? Probably not the best description of it but I am sure most of you will know what I mean. the bottle has AIP Limited printed on it.

Before changing the grommet, pull the motor out, examine the grommet. If you have some Captain Tolleys creeping crack cure

http://www.captaintolley.com/

Apply a few drops around the grommet and in the hole, refit the motor, and let it dry for a while.

If no Capt Tolleys, try a smear of Vaseline.

Thanks Dave, I have put some Vaseline on but the grommet looks a bit perished so I think it will still need replacing. Problem is finding the correct one.

I got one of these from Holden when my 4/4 Sport one failed it was cheap enough and everything renewed.

Fit and forget wink

I used the supplied tubing/couplers to fix Heathers last Polo rear screen washer system so nothing wasted grin2.

Andy, I had the same issue last year, Melvyn Rutter parts was the only chap who would just sell the grommet only

They look very similar to a basic electrical grommet, but of all the ones I had in stock all have too narrow a groove to fit the into the thick walled plastic tank

Thanks for all your help. I have bitten the bullet and ordered a new bottle from Holden. Thanks for the link Richard.
I thought no point in wasting ages trying to get the right grommet so just went for the full set. It will at least leave me with a few spares.

I'm glad it is helpful Andy, when I ordered back in 2012 it was a total flier as nobody had said it was compatible but like most things Morgan with enough good faith these things work out (sometimes laugh2) and in this case they did.

The spare tubing/couplers come in handy for replacing the Morgan OE licquorice tubing that can pop off and short the dash out, I expect you know all about that so not sucking eggs here.

Also get a new t piece which sits behind the dash. Mine split. Aquarium shops on flea bay sell good replacements.
