This sale was of personal interest given my Grandad owned and loved his 1926 Type 40 which he purchased in 1932. The first photo shows the car pulled out of the garage for sale in 1977. Grandad died in 1952 and the car sat in the garage till that sale. The Bugatti Owners Almanic has the car listed as one of the most original Bugatti's in Australia at the time.
