Ditto re brake reaction bars and a Panhard Rod (Rutherford).
It made a huge difference to handling and stopped most of the bunny hop for me.
One of the best investments I made Rob.
It also silenced that worrying sound of something about to fall off as you take a spirited attitude into that bend or roundabout!

Redfate is spot on, cannot overemphasize importance of minding the threads when replacing your Oiler bolt in the top of the king pin after fitting the brake reaction bars. I stripped mine, which led me to tear down the entire suspension. Long overdue but might have been better as a choice rather than an unanticipated and costly consequence to what everyone says is a ‘30 minute job’. Am sure it can be, but the one minute I was supposed to be super careful about the threads, I was not as careful as I needed to be. Car still up on blocks awaiting my spindles from the powder coat place. Again, I have no regrets, suspension rebuild is a blast, great bit of Morgan fun. But if your Mog isn’t overdue for a new set of king pins and bushes, mind the threads!

Are most folks putting Panhard rods onto leaf spring cars? I was under the impression that leafs have enough lateral rigidity to obviate the need for the Panhard. I don’t doubt people notice a difference but maybe they need better leafs?

Next year for me is rear suspension time. I’ll tear that down, fix leafs, get my Armstrong levers rebuilt. Had thought about the Panhard or a Watts linkage (some really cool animation videos on line explaining them, almost mesmerizing to watch) but will keep it stock. I just want to fix my sag.

Depends on how hard you drive the car, I suspect. When I went from 85bhp (knackered CVH) to 165bhp(tuned Ecotec) I really noticed a lack of rear axle control even with newish 5-leaf rear springs, under hard cornering and acceleration it was pretty bad, on very tight bumpy corners you could feel the back end hopping sideways, it was quite unnerving. New 4-leaf springs, Panhard rod, ant-tramp bars, AVO shocks and a rebuilt axle with Quaife ATB diff sorted everything out beautifully.

A cheaper alternative is to put rubbing blocks between the chassis and the springs, much closer to OE. But for a touring car I'd probably agree, a Panhard rod isn't a necessity.

Recently fitted a panhard rod (along with bigger wheels and tyres, new 4 leaf springs and rebuilt, adjustable Armstrongs). Back end has been transformed - no longer skitty on roundabouts and got much more confidence to chuck her into corners, without fear of her losing grip. Vast improvement.
