tried it today. Rev counter sticks randomly even with the heater switched off....

The rev counter on my previous Morgan, a 1981 4/4 4-seater, had to be waken up by a gentle knock on the instrument glass.

Any update on this derek? My roadster, that I've only had for about 6 months has a rev counter quirk. Unlike normal cars I've owned, this rev counter doesn't always increase revs smoothly. Mostly when I boot it, and when it returns to normal driving revs.
