Thinking of ordering my M3W in Harley Davidson black denim (a satin flat black) with tan interior. What's the opinion?

I'd want some feedback on how the paint holds up over time. Cleaning, maintenance, waxing, matching if damaged, etc. Would the finish become splotchy, glossy, or uneven from rubbing it? Would it show more (or fewer) scratches? Are you willing to be a slave to black paint?
What were your thoughts that led you to that color? Would you choose chrome or black trim? It would be dramatic, for sure. I'd probably combine the industrial black with a bolder interior color, personally.

I already have a Harley this colour, it is very delicate, easy to mark etc. You can't polish it, only wash with dish wash soap.
But I think it looks good, maybe cream leather with this?

Would a vinyl wrap in matt black work better? It should not cost much.

Hmmm.....will vinyl wrap take the heat from those exhaust pipes?

I used to apply vinyl appliqués (panels) to new cars in the early '70s. The problem is that they would chip, peel, bubble, and deteriorate over time. Once removed (not fun) the paint could appear a different color if fading had occurred. I'd think twice about vinyl wrap, if you're thinking you'll be into your 3W for the long run and want to maintain a pristine look.
With that said, though... they really do look nice (and tempting).

Todays wraps have evovelved Makes sense... I've gotten better with age, too.
