There are 2 holes on the top off side of the tool box carrier the plate looks like it is about credit card size. I am not sure what info would be on it

If you look at the picture I posted I think the two holes that you commented on would have been to retain retained the coolant warning tab

So going by the picture TBM has just posted, from a 4/4 of the same era as yours you can use Caution Label together with Tool Tray Tag and you will have an authentic arrangement

I have just discovered a better quality Caution Label,but I have failed to find one with the exact same text as the original. The difference being "system under freezing conditions" instead of "system during winter conditions" Caution Label

Sorry it appears I have been wasting my time. I thought you were looking for originality not just an ordinary modern VIN plate. If that's the case why don't you get the chap at Timpsons to knock you one up, it shouldn't cost that much.
