It has the 4 seater windscreen which all the States marketed ones were fitted with too.
The higher front "absorbed" bumper has been dropped and the holes either filled in or the spots are covering the holes, the former I hope.

He used to spend alot of the year in the states writing with his old mate there. Maybe he kept the car there? He may feel too old to do the travelling now....

Brownbaker posted this in the For Sale section but probably better belongs here. A 1982 Plus-8 in (" Bangers & Cash") Mathewson's October auction. Apparently owned by the singer Joe Brown. mathewsons.co.uk![[Linked Image]](https://mathewsons.co.uk/images/directory/p3/f15408/gallery7/IMG_3223.jpg) I'm not sure where Joe lives now but presumably somewhere where they drive on the right as the car is LHD. According to DVLA imported in February this year. Nice looking unit.

Very interesting, bruvvers. I don't remember seeing Joe Brown on any of the lists of celebrity owners.
Presumably he shipped the car back to the U.K. before deciding to sell it, otherwise, surely it would have found a better market in the U.S.?

+8Rich must be right regarding the positioning of the spot lights. I would be worried that they would completely obscure the indicators from some angles, particularly at T-junctions.

Yes that could be true bruvver but whoever brought it from the States in January didn't use it here for long, whether that was Joe Brown or someone else.
