Over to Oxwich bay on Gower. Parked in the hotel (free ). Good beach walk most of the way to Three Cliffs but incoming tide prevented further progress. Month had a great time chasing a ball into the sea. Back to the hotel for a drink in the garden. Drove to the King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston ( couple of miles) for an al fresco bite to eat. Home over Cefn Bryn past Arthur’s Stone then via Penclawdd.
Beach was busy but social distancing was good, as were both hotels.

Not really a good day. But my wife knows how to cure: out in the MOG.

A short 50miles journey in the afternoon.

Out from Mainz on small roads to Ingelheim and than to Gau-Algesheim.

Leaving the road to Appenheim. Follow the road and than leave left towards Engelstadt. In Engelstadt turn right towards the B420.
Follow the B420 and enjoy the light flow to the river Rhine (Nackenheim). In Nackenheim turn left.

We had a stop in Bodenheim for a Glas of wine at HAUB. Also a good idea is „Potsdamer Hof“.

For us the day ends with a short trip home. For some visitors/ tourists- there are a lot of B&Bs around.

Lovely photo. You've been lucky with the weather Stuart. 25 degrees yesterday!

No problem. We'll have a look at that, some time in the future...
NC500 on my list, but doing it gently to see the many places I've missed, so far smile

Chatsworth?
We went there a couple of years ago, tagging a couple of days onto Morgans at Windermere.

Nice meet up for lunch with an old pal at Buckfast Abbey, autumnal look belied by the temperature of 22C lovely run out and great company with quality food.
Saw and waved to a S1 proper Land Rover and a Pilgrim Bulldog.

I'm going to miss this sound track when the time comes for a swap to the BMW 4IL.
