Shock news: Non-alcoholic drink improved by the addition of alcohol.  Richard may remember a local in the pub where Sue and I stayed down in Devon (where several TMers joined us for dinner one evening) who suggested just that. Peter was on a non (or low) alcohol beer when said gentleman suggested he "put a gin in it!"

I have to admit that that the main consequence of COVID is that I'm drinking more and better wine at home.
I realised it is a lot cheaper than going out and buying cheap wine at inflated prices.
£10.00 a bottle at home is £30.00 in a restaurant....
£10.00 a bottle in a pub is £3.00 wholesale.
Food for thought.

The best of a bad bunch I've found is nosecco, if you don't mind all the burping that follows. Improved massively with Pimms, a case of 1 + 1 = 3!! Been making wine for many many years and I am 99.9 % tea total so if anyone is heading to the frozen North you are welcome to try it , but just thinking you will need an other driver .
