Are there any recommendations for a hotel with a sea view near Minsmere?
Google found us the Brudenell Hotel at Aldeburgh. Anyone know if it is OK?

The Brudenell is a lovely hotel. When we first started going to Aldeburgh many years ago, it was a tired, smelly wreck of a place. It's now a wonderful modern hotel, if a bit on the pricey side. You could also try the White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh. That was the first hotel Caron and I stayed at in Aldeburgh when we first arrived there on a stormy evening thirty odd years ago. Got a room overlooking the sea (the only room left) for £90 - an outrageous amount for us at that time.

Try The Wentworth, lovely family run hotel. Best hotel in Aldeburgh, in my humble opinion.

Many thanks chaps - all filed away for a future opportunity. Sadly, it looks as though we have left it too late to add a night on to a trip next week as Mrs F is insistent on a sea view room if we are to stay overnight.
