Slightly more involved than a simple replacement of control arms and a wheel/tire. The engine looks to be off-center. Salvaged because the insurance company didn't want to replace the frame? Its been driven a few hundred miles since the repair.

On one hand how foolish would it be to buy a salvaged M3W, on the other hand it might work better than it originally did from the factory

If the rebuild has been properly done, $32,000 for a low mileage 2017 is not bad.
