I notice the speedometer is on the left (driver's side in this case) of the dash, my car has the rev counter there. Are some built this way, or has somebody swapped the gauges?

There is enough slack in the electrical loom to allow the speedometer and tachometer to be transposed. It's just a nuts and bolts job with the centre dash panel tilted to allow access. I have the Speedo on the RH side in my RH drive car as it is easier to see, I can hear the engine so know what the rpm is. From the factory the tachometer is normally on whatever side the driver is.
Just noticed that your avatar shows a Heritage Dash, that may not be so easy to swop the instruments, I don't know. Let us know if you do the job, it may be easy?

The three wheeler linked to here has the heritage dash too, so it must be possible to swap them on those too if this is not the factory position. It is something for the list of possible tinkering projects!

On one hand how foolish would it be to buy a salvaged M3W, on the other hand it might work better than it originally did from the factory  Maybe a good place to start an Ace conversion? I think the only common part between a Morgan and an ACE are the 7" headlights. The headlights on the crashed Morgan look OK, so I guess that's a start...

Well with the frame fixed (if thats possible) then maybe stick a motoguzzi engine and drive train in it. The Harley B and Goldwing drive is available easily. It would never be an Ace but I doubt it will be a running Morgan again. Maybe a Soapbox Derby Racer😊?
