Thought this was a great game, very open and played in a good spirit.
Thought Nigel Owens had another excellent match, kept his whistle in his pocket and let the game flow, explained his decisions to the players and let them get on with the game.

He is a superb and experienced referee. Only been to Exeter Chiefs once and that was the old stadium years ago but the club left an impression with how welcoming they were to visiting players families (they were in National 1 back then). We were well entertained and a superb day out, contrasting markedly with 2 weeks later at Launceston where 3 cars had tyres let down in the car park and we were advised clubhouse facilities were for members only!

Many congrats to the Chiefs, a fantastic achievement, how differently the two clubs have faired Since this encounter http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/english/7952875.stmMy own, Moseley, Who went on to win the cup in 2009, the only silverware we’ve claimed at twickenham in my lifetime of supporting them, have been languishing in the depths of national 2 having seen the club lurch from one financial crisis to another and slide down the leagues as any talent we discovered moved on to bigger and better things. Jonny May and Charlie Sharples, to name but two, have worn the red and black and have played in the premiership for tigers and Gloucester for many years. However, we have a very welcoming club where anyone can enjoy a pint or three and a hot pork bap or pie and chips and enjoy rugby at a fraction of the price of the premiership costs and/or premier football. I yearn for the day we can all go back to watching our teams live with pint in hand enjoying the company of one and all. When it does happen I’d be happy to buy a pint to any supporter who wants to come have a good time at our club.

Well they finally did it, and beat the Twickenham jinx brilliant effort in dreadful conditions and commiserations to Wasps.

Indeed. Kudos to Exeter, what an achievement.
Enjoyed the Ireland v Italy game too; some promising young talent in both teams.
As this is a car forum I feel obliged to point out that Italy prop Simone Ferrari looks more like an Iveco truck to me.
Giles. Mogless in Paris.

My hangover has finally subsided. Fantastic finale to the season, for Exeter Chiefs - European and Premiership champions. Exeter Chiefs facts: 25 years ago when the Heineken Cup was first played; Exeter RFC were in the 4th tier of English rugby. Rob Baxter played for the club for many years, as did his brother Richie and his dad John. (The Baxter’s farm 300 acres just outside Exeter.) Bud Sandy Park - North Terrace, Block B.
