I guess it makes sense back then.
There was a new modern handling chassis and v8. People liked the trad styling more than the newer cross-eyed number.
I guess Morgan eventually answered it with the Aero based Plus 8.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
