Those cams make a big difference. Did you get the rockers too?

Really interested in that ecu. Did G56 set a base tune for the cams?

I don't have the roller rockers but yes, it came with a map to suit the cams, G56 exhaust and a less restrictive filter than standard. Of course, comparing the map on the standard ecu with one on a completely different ecu is a bit of an exercise in futility! It would be bad enough going through comparing two maps for the same ecu so I'll take their word for it that they are different! laugh

I did not expect the new ecu to be a strait comparison, but good to know the made a base map.

Will it adapt to small changes in things like air cleaner and exhaust?

As far as I am aware at this point, yes it does do the adaptive bit and should be okay with a fair range of small changes on the road. No doubt it could be made a bit better after a good session on a rolling road with someone who knows their way round the system but the main changes for the cams have been made. Went out for a run today in the sunshine and all seems good.

You can't quite see the new cams... laugh

You would need a Selfie to get the new cams. A pasted grin on your face as you applied fuel :-)

That all sounds good about the ECU. Did they give you any indication of production date and its availability?

BTW, that is another very nice photo!

I realize it is not winter yet, but changed my oil cooler to be hidden under the bonnet.... also turned over 10,000 miles today on the way to work

That is an interesting set up, considering how hot it gets under the bonnet I was wondering how effective is the cooler in that position at cooling the oil?

Don't know yet as it was only 32f when I came to work. There is the potential of a lot of circulation around the transmission at least when you moving. I originally had a MC fan assisted cooler there and the oil temp was 10-15 degrees less unfortunately that set up required a 1/2 hose going to a 3/8 hose
