James, you will possibly find info has already been posted in your image thread.
The forum software does not like the picture extension ".jpeg" when posting to the image sections. If you remove the letter "e" from the file extension, so it becomes ",jpg" you will find photos will then display in the image sections. (I'm guessing you may be using something from Apple when posting the photo?).
If you just wish to add photos into a thread the easiest way is to save your photo to a photo hosting site and then copy the BBCode (Bulletin Board Code) into the thread you are writing.
One of our members (Peter, aka Gambalunga) set up a photo hosting site (
www.tm-img.com) for us to use. It is run on a donations basis. Peter is ably assisted by Tim (aka Hamwich). There is an "Instructions for use" page on the site, should you wish to join it. Not limited to just photos of Morganeering - I also use it to host some photo files that I may post on other forums (e.g. the Leica Users forum).
