This is a very nice car. I can well understand that this was the dream of your youth.

WOW, what a beauty Fuel.inj, just sooooperb. In the 70`s I had an affair with a V12 for a week, in which I fed it with £60 worth of petrol, though in truth while I liked the wider wheels and the fish tail exhausts of the V12, I have to admit for me in terms of Jaguar Classics, the look under the bonnet of an E Type of the iconic six engine bay is impossible to beat. These days I too would prefer the tin top.. From a dull memory I think the GoMoG webmaster may have put a fair bit of effort into an early flat floor soft top E Type his good lady ran for a while... Rear brake replacement fun etc.etc.etc.

I have now replaced it with a life long ambition. My wife insists this will be the last and a keeper. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/11/07/6811DD99-FE3E-4EAC-A04C-067EC506C4B8.jpg) Very nice! I do like the colour

Thanks for the compliments. It’s a S11 FHC and is the 5th from last model built in 1970. It’s Opalescent Blue which was a stock Jaguar colour in its day. Even though I am a member of the JEC, this forum still is the friendliest and best and will continue to enjoy. Stay safe all, Paul.
