After regrettably selling my Plus 8 earlier this year I have now replaced it with a life long ambition. My wife insists this will be the last and a keeper.
Congratulations on fulfilling this dream. The car looks fantastic, and for me, I way prefer the coupé to the roadster. It has always been a dream for me too; maybe one day. I hope yours turns out to be everything you wished for.

Congratulations Sir I’m a life long Etype fan ever since my dad had one new in 73. I currently have a Series 1 4.2 roadster. I love the early E’s the 6 cylinder cars you can grab by the scruff of the neck and drive hard if you wish, lots of fun. Paul, I too had a life long lust for an S1 E type o.t.s. which I finally managed to buy at the London Classic Car show but, I'm afraid for me it was a case of never meet your heros. It went within the year to be replaced by a C type, much more to my liking.
I too am a member of the JEC and agree with your observation, I also belong to the JDC which IMHO is a much better club.
Here for a good time not a long time!!
