Hello Richard,
I am indeed a member of the MSCC.
Life's is something of a last resort contender unfortunately; they are the same distance to travel (120 miles) as my previous ex-Morgan mechanic in Upton Upon Severn (Mark Middleton).
Thank you for your suggestion however!

Glenn, I can see that's too far I wasn't sure.
Good luck locating someone closer to home.

Have you managed a visit Phil ? despite the ad in Miscellany, I can't get them to return my call frown

I sent a message to Langley from their website, and got a reply from them very quickly, asking for more details.
I confirmed what I needed from them (a ballpark figure for a light service and MOT), and was expecting a prompt reply to confirm what they could do...

...that was a couple of days ago. I'll let you know when I get that reply. listening

I've had a reply from Langley Classics!
It is £300 (incl VAT) for a Standard service and £40 for the MOT.
They need the car for 24-48 hours, so it's two trips for two of us.

How does that compare to your neck of the woods guys? listening

Glenn, official dealers are about £400 for Std service and another £80 - £100 extra to do the brake & clutch fluids

Had my annual service on my Supersports at Ledgerwood Morgan £450 to include standard service..MOT..4 plugs and one exhaust clamp and wheel geometry check.

Thought that was good value. They needed it for 2 days and lent me a car.

Sorry I did not get back to you in time but it seems sorted. It seems reasonable compared to the main dealers. There should be some B&Bs in the area so you could make a minibreak of it.

All done for another year, with Langley Classics (Derbyshire/Staffordshire).
£300 standard service and £40 MOT.
No other issues, except for a wheel bearing advisory.
The guy even showed me the old spark plugs and oil!

Kilnhurst Motors near Rotherham has been servicing + one repair my Plus Four for a few years - no complaints. They can no longer change tyres on wire wheels though (see new thread).

I have it MOT'd at Central Garage Barnsley - never failed so far.
