I asked him whether he would be in trouble if someone got an electric shock.

"Only if it's another trial attorney."

The other three incidents the vehicle was completely stolen and a cutoff switch, which I added to the A.H. Sprite and the 1937 Ford Panel Delivery truck.

Only whilst I open the garage door. My cars are under cover so I dont often need to let them idle to defrost. Many are stolen off the drive whilst left running unattended defrosting, your insurers are not likely to be sympathetic. I once started my old Range Rover to defrost whilst I scraped the windows, then I could not open the drivers door. My spare key would not open the passenger door, I got in through the rear window, I drove 20 miles before the drivers door would open.

I never started mine and let them idle in front of my home. The one that was running was running because I had to get out to Post a letter in the Postoffice mail slot and when I turned around a guy had jumped into it. We have laws about leaving a car running in your driveway while you are in your home.

In the late 70's in my 1600E days I used a mini jack audio socket mounted in the steering column binnacle spliced into the ignition circuit and the corresponding jack plug suitably bridged across inside.

Without putting the jack plug into the socket it would not start.

Splicing such a device into the fuel pump relay circuit would work well on the 3 wheeler.

Starter circuit relay cutoff would be better so a battery drain would not be possible.

Not advisable, particularly if it's a later Traven quick release. Out of interest, has anyone heard of a M3W being stolen by being driven away? Possibly more chance of it being lifted and towed.

I use https://www.batterybrain.co.uk/product/battery-brain-t3/ as the remote control allows easy isolation/reconnection of the battery. As a full disconnect it also disables the immobiliser and any feed to the ECU.

Having said that the price seems to have rocketed since I bought mine.
