I ordered the third brake light and it is on its way. They are extremely proud of their parts but I decided to just buy the set up. Anyway, is there enough wire to reach the area that it needs to plug into the third brake light. I took a quick peak at it and it doesn't appear to have enough wire to reach to the top of the car where the light will mount.

If its a factory item, I would be very surprised if it doesn't have a lead long enough, terminating in an AMP Econoseal two way plug, to reach matching socket on loom.
ETA: you may have to assemble the supplied connector after fitting lamp to car.

My factory item came with rather short leads. Idealy I guess the leads should be around 75cm long to reach the loom connector adjacent to the fuel pump. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2020/11/02/P1150339.jpg)

Whoops  , just spotted your picture Andy on OP's previous thread. If the loom socket doesn't have enough spare cable wrapped away to reach, I would be tempted to obtain fresh female pins and extend the cables to loom socket to reach the plug on lamp. AMP Econoseal connectors are readily available on eBay. ETA: Loom schematic does show only 15cm at best on that portion of loom eminating from convoluted cover

I am hoping it is just wrapped up in there.

They way I did it cost very little and I documented it in this web site.
2019 M3W Sold and is now in Las Vegas enjoying the showgirls :-)
