Road Trips
We managed to squeeze in a couple of road trips this year, one into London and one around the country, the midlands and up to Yorkshire.
I know some of you hang on to your film photography and so here are some of the pictures taken with a Nikon F2 and a Hasselblad X-Pan and printed in my darkroom. These are scanned silver prints.

London looks empty!
Sold my X-Pan to buy a Leica M6. (still have my Widepan 6x17 though - I like the letterbox format). Must put a couple of film cameras up for sale to finance another Leica optic. Wow the Widepan must be a handful, interesting camera.

I would have thought that the photo with B House in the background would be a worthy candidate for the MSCC calendar.

London looks like a post-apocolyptic film set recently, especially during the first lockdown. Some human life has now returned, but the number who do not socially distance or wear masks frightens me , and I stay well away these days. I take my exercise in Kent which ironically is in Tier 3 , whereas London is Tier 2 (for now?)

Wow the Widepan must be a handful, interesting camera. It's actually quite lightweight Kev. I have taken a number of photos handheld. Obviously in lower light a tripod is essential
