In etymological terms, as whisky is just an English approximation for the Gaelic uisce beatha or in Scottish Gaelic uisge beatha, so effectively a phonetic interpretation, the difference is of no great importance.
For the record, I am a big fan of the electric soup from either side of the Irish Sea.

I am a big fan of the electric soup I have only ever heard it called that by Willie Rushton, I was a big fan of his writing. I guess it was a general Private Eye thing of that era. In Richard Ingrams and John Wells "Dear Bill" letters, they frequently have Denis Thatcher referring to the electric soup in his missives to his friend Bill (assumed by most to be Bill Deedes).

Back to subject. Bottling is complete. Limited run of 21 bottles. Tullibardine 10 single cask, single malt, cask strength! Not sure how I’m going to be able to distribute. Parcel force in a blow up bag I imagine. Only in UK. I have some other bottles for Red3 so guess he will be first. I can collect from bond about 5th January if labels done.
As an experiment I took an Ardmore 10 cask after I emptied it to local brewery and he made a great whisky beer from it. Just got in a few days ago, strong and tasty
