Lockdown slide show
Lately, quite a lot of my time has been spent in the darkroom catching up on some printing. Here are some of the pictures taken before lockdown in 2019 or on various walks in 2020 along with one of the Morgan just to make this a little bit legitimate. We have this to look forward to once the vaccine is circulated enough to make the population relatively safe, until then enjoy the dream.
Angie went into Epsom, St Helier hospital this morning to be part of the nursing vaccination team, she will be working long shifts three days each week to administer as many as possible. Her normal Orthopaedic ward is now a dedicated Covid ITU centre, as she was a 'Bank' Nurse she was not assigned this duty.

My favourite is also the "Iron bridge"!
I have a soft spot for metal constructions!
In Dresden there is a iron bridge called "Grünes Wunder" (green wonder). Every time I visit Dresden I have to sit at the river Elbe and have a look up to this bridge.

I love the Ironbridge shot, the village museum there is a great visit with lots of interest in peacetime.

Considering its not that far away, I still have not visited.
With the number of things to see (I hope the restored Severn Trow is still there somewhere) I really should stay over for a couple of nights and visit all the various sites.

Considering its not that far away, I still have not visited.
With the number of things to see (I hope the restored Severn Trow is still there somewhere) I really should stay over for a couple of nights and visit all the various sites. Well worthwhile. DonMog were due to go there in April 2020 (I haven't visited for 30+ years) for a weekend. Now booked for April 2021 and looking iffy.

I am always amazed & amused how the Iron bridge is basically carpentry skills used on cast iron. A visit is well worthwhile.
