I bougth an aluminium country sign holder for motorbikes. Bent it and screwed it underneath. The screw with the big washer was already on the 2019 Plus4. CH1 by Werni Wehrli, auf Flickr CH3 by Werni Wehrli, auf Flickr CH2 by Werni Wehrli, auf Flickr

oh, i'm sorry!
I didn't mean to cause trouble. I know the queen uses these letters for her kingdom too. But these are just my initials. I put it on the wooden box on my luggage rack.

Gunter .... TM wouldn't be TM without some thread drift!! And anyway .... the OP isn't responsible for the fact half the members have a severely limited attention span and tend to wander of at a tangent! Great that you can keep the old GB sign on your car and that you have the added amusement of it being your initials K

Thanks K. The previous owner of my Plus 8 already had one on the car he used to pop over and pick up his Beaujolais Nouveau in it apparently. Some years ago we went to a wedding in France and took the opportunity to purchase some local produce. We may have over purchased a bit because my wife had to complete the remainder of the journey with her feet up on top of the wine bottles and several packs of Merguez sausages on her lap (I LOVE merguez sausages). These things have to be done. Anyway, we have a GB plate just like Gunters which came off one of my fathers cars. It remains fitted to my current car.

Nice story, I'd never heard of those sausages so something new to look out for. Good to keep your fathers old sign going

This is the article I saw ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/01/13/20210113_104610.jpg) K There is a huge choice of GB signs and stickers online BUT many of them do not comply with regulations on size, so do check before buying.

I have to say that I've done thousands of miles in France in multiple cars and have never had a GB plate or other identifier on any of the cars. Never had a problem either... I wonder with all the vitriol about Brexit, whether identifying yourself as a Brit in France is a good idea?
