Have driven that car, the performance is amazing. Bill tried to convince Charles to use that engine to continue the Plus 8 series. Charles was not interested. Bill charges about US $35,000 to covert your car.

I agree but if I was shelling out $35,000 I could cope with a more traditional wheel change I think

Interesting as ever that history can come back and bite you on the bum at a future date. As much as I love and enjoy my 4/4 Sport there will forever be a certain appeal for the V8 growl. That is the thing I miss the most about the one I had prior to the Sport. It's the Sport's litheness and power to weight that really make it shine over Dartmoor for me as the roads are proper driving roads at the right time of year and day.

It's what you get when you give your son your name. And then he gives his son his name, and so on.

I do understand Dave and naming the oldest son after dad (and granddad) is quite common here too. At birthdays it is not uncommon to have three generations of Piet's or Jan's in a room, but still we dont call ourselves the 2nd 3rd or umpteenth. And then there is that annoying middle initial thing. OK if you are a president maybe. Don't know. It might be just a harmless custom but it sound sooo pretentious to me. Might be because of a particular stuck-up character I met using both features in his name. Sorry over again.

Thank you, good to see that someone recognized that as the web site of a reputable Morgan Dealer and not a fabrication.
Lance
"Fabrication"? I Can't recall anyone claiming "fabrication". The word I used was conjecture: "A conjecture is a proposition that is unproven but is thought to be true and has not been disproven." And because someone has stated something on a website is proof? If it exists already why post a picture of a Morgan Roadster and not the 'Malvern Roadster'? Simon has already posted that MMC have stated there is a feasibility study being carried out. I would guess that this is therefore a marketing exercise to gauge interest. Oh and you asked for comments. Sorry if it was not what you wanted to read or didn't agree with. We can have different opinions
Cheers
