Ouch, all four corners suffering damage. A very brave project for half the asking price. Break for spares surely although probably only one good wheel. It stayed upright which is a testament to something. There is commentary about the chassis being able to handle the horsepower of a Plus Six, and that might be a factor in the stats. it may be also be that It’s more a question of the driver being able to manage the power. There are many cars that have similar power to weight ratios that manage to live less exciting lives. I don’t have any wisdom in this area just interested in whether it is the car or driver? I just noticed the wiper blades are in the upright position, perhaps the road was wet and greasy.

Maybe MikeFromPembroke can give some light about what hapenned... It seems we're all assuming that it was a driver's error, due to excessive power with almost no electronics' help, and this and that... But maybe it was just an error passing a Stop sign or a red light and maybe the Morgan's driver was not even responsible of the crash! Just thinking....

Taken from Mike's post back in October:
"Thanks all, yes Marcus the black “A” pillars are an expensive extra, but I like the contrast. Every Morgan I have owned has had some fuel gauge discrepancy, but the plus 6 has the biggest yet with a 1/4 tank remaining when the gauge is zero... and we don’t have so many mountains around ere... Not needed to use the heater in anger yet, but get the idea it’s delivering cooler air as previous Morgan’s, footwell vents don’t appear to deliver much volume? I am hoping the OS fault doesn’t develop into a regular event, will be interesting to see what the dealer comes up with. Mike"
Well the answer to the last sentence is "a brand new car". Glad no one was hurt and there seems to be a happy conclusion.

There are two good points about this, the first that no one was injured and it's a testament to the CX chassis strength the second as every corner would seem to have got clouted, it seems consistent with a power on spin in a confined area to me. Happy to be corrected on that.
The wing mirror and front indicators seem quite expensive for that tasking price as they would appear to be the only salvageable parts of the car. Possibly the engine I wouldn't go near the transmission or back axle after that sort of impact, some idiot will pay it ....

I think the technical term is cream crackered. A very good friend of mine use to say "it was pregnant before I got it" he was Orcadian and had a very advanced sense of humour..

Surely no one in there right mind would pay £40k with that amount of damage.
