He finally succeeded after 30 mins of revving the tits off his car and spinning the wheels till he melted the snow and got grip.

Well done Geir, I've done a -4C across Salisbury plain at midnight and that was cold enough for me  when I got out of the car my face looked like a Tomato it was a 350 mile journey.. East to West of the country.

very, in fact it has been for some weeks. Above the tow path for some way. local fields flooded there and Pangbourne. I bet the river at Goring was impressive.
