I'm just happy to be alive and have the pleasure of being able to chat with my "freinds" on TM. If Scotland want to be independent then good uck to them. I shall be advocating independence for The Isle of Dogs as that is where a lot of our national income derives from.
Here for a good time not a long time!!

Even in the Soap Box .... As this is a topic that has already caused friction and you obviously know little about it (or geography for that matter 🙂) .... why open another thread about it on a car forum? ..... there are plenty of Political forums where you would get far more informed discussion .... why open it here where the membership qualification is ownership/interest of a particular make of car? ....there's already been more than enough insensitive, thoughtless and down right ill informed comment on this subject in these pages .... so I'd vote to give it a miss.
Sorry if that sounds in any way hostile .... it's not meant to be .... just slightly exasperated that with all the specialist political forums out there we continue to pick at already well-picked scabs on this most polite of sites.

^^^^^ Well ain't that the truth  Proof indeed that nothing at all has been learnt from our two resignations by well respected commentators on International matters, mostly bought about by uninformed opinions with vitriol which is where this will be heading - again

I ^^^^^ Well ain't that the truth Totally agree Rich We’ve already lost a splendid long term TMer, frustrated with the politics. Other than this post, I am restricting my posts to technical, product and Morgan adventures. However, I find the politics and their related hostility, very tedious. I am reluctant to also leave, but time will tell Bud 4/4 - Stanley

Agree with everyone who says it should be in the soapbox and I would vote NO for independence. I will say, however, that Nicola has done a better job than Doris regarding the pandemic.
