I would hope that once cleaned and relocated as Posted in the Mod for relocating the line so it doesn’t dip down before going up to the tank will cure the collection/plugging issue.

crankcase breather line rerouted and a new tank installed. Now it is possible to see that the crankcase is indeed venting.

Crankcase breather is the clear hose on the right.

Thanks to BitsOBrits for the CrankCase Breather Mod. It worked great.

I have ordered the 90o swivel fitting from Summit racing, so probably weekend after next. I am building a built in computer desk with book shelf for the study in our new house....

trying to get into the retirement mindset (90 days away)

Make sure you give it a slight angle up so it will drain back. I had it level with the engine case and that didn’t work.

Rodger, congrats on the upcoming retirement.

I have been retired a year now and have not been able to get caught up on projects yet... smile Of course most are of my own choice.

For quite a while I felt like I was on sick leave. Someday I felt I would have to report back to work, but that day has not come! I was not as fortunate as most in that I had to work until I was 70 to get all our debts paid off. Now debt free and a fair amount in our retirement fund, we feel pretty good about things. Drawing one year of monthly distributions out of my retirement funds and purchasing a new to us fifth wheel out of my side of the funds, we now have more in our retirement funds than when we started just over a year ago! Life is good for now. At 71 I feel great and can still do just about everything I did at 50. My wife is in the same shape, so to speak and we're both very healthy. Debt free and healthy, what more could one want out of retirement??? Okay, more money would be nice!

Enjoy your upcoming retirement in your new home, again congrats! Have a great 2021... smile

Thanks. I will be 68. I really love the teaching and working with the residents but, being "the boss" means I have a hard time getting away. Besides I have 5 (maybe 6) GL1000 goldwing frames and engines.... and the "pile O'parts....

Thanks Rodger. Is the npt fitting 1/8 or 3/8? I see in an earlier post it is described as 1/8 npt to an6. My car isn't handy for me to check.
