Plus 8 here so can't help - maybe it's in DW's book if you have a copy ?

Someone helpful will be along soon if not. gomog advice I normally take mine out so I'm sure and get a direct electrical and physical replacement, sounds simple but it's not always. I've never been let down at my local motor factors doing it this way. It's easily doable from the top with caution.
Good luck.

Cain is sending me the details, apparently it's a Banner.

If from new it's probably a Banner 50200 Unibull. I don't think these are available anymore though.

Simply measure it’s physical size, note the ampere hour capacity and cold cranking amps, which will be shown on the battery label, the type of terminal whether round or flat and then pop along to halfords for an equivalent one at a reasonable price.

Having checked on Tayna Batteries an equivalent to the Banner size wise is a ENDUROLINE

Hi,

I would be surprised if your battery cradle, the size of which determines the physical size of battery that can be fitted, is different to mine which accommodated a Banner 50 200 (no longer available).
When mine, died I replaced with a Banner 075 / P6352.

Exactly the same dimensions but higher cranking.

If you don’t want to go into any shops Tayna Batteries will deliver to you within a couple of days, great service. I have no connection

I've used Tayna before to supply batteries and it's worked fine and they've been quick and easy to deal with ..... one thing I'd check is the warranty given ....I recently bought some big Rolls renewable energy batteries .... 7 year warranty .... but when I checked Tayna as their prices are usually very good, they were only giving a 1 year warranty .... either they're buying them from Rolls without warranty and therefore cheaper .. or giving a 1 year warranty on something they're getting a 7 year warranty on from the manufacturer. I bought elsewhere slightly more expensive to get the full warranty in this case.
