Lorne is basically sausage meat in flat form, not in a skin. Known as square sausage, it'll have a fried egg on top.

Plenty of pics and a report of that lovely new plus six when you collect it would be great.
There's also a great farm shop/ cafe out near Huntingtower that's very good, Russell and Elliott will advise.👍

Missed the farm shop when up that way. Good Lorne sausage is on a par with Stornoway black pudding.

Gloagburn farm shop out the Tibbermore road is what you're after. Only a mile from my house so makes a good pit stop on the way back from a drive but be careful as parts of the carpark look like a film set of the Somme!

Another warm sunny afternoon, I needed to go to the local Tack Shop to buy a head collar for the horse.. the old one broke yesterday and leading a horse without a head collar is no joke!
The nearest Tack shop open is in Ringwood, so that meant a drive across the New Forest.
Time for Tarka...
A wonderful drive, partly on the A31 and then on the B roads across the Forest. It was almost normal, but without the traffic...
I have one question.
Why to people driving alone in a TinTop wear a face mask? I must have seen 5 or 6 this afternoon. Very strange...
